Objective Tostudytheeffectsoftitanicartificialossiclereplacementincanalwall - downandcanalwall-up tympanoplasty for patients suffering from chronic otitis media .Methods A total of 157 cases (164 ears) un-derwent canal wall-down and canal wall -up tympanoplasty at our hospital from Feburary 2014 to Feburary 2016 were retrospectively analyzed ,in which 50 cases in canal wall down tympanoplasty with titanic ossicle replacement , 49 cases without replacement ,42 cases in canal wall -up tympanoplasty with titanic artificial ossicle replacement , and 23 cases without replacement .The average air bone gaps (ABG) before and 3 months after operations were re-corded and the average reduced ABGs were compared between sub -groups to evaluate the effects of titanic artificial ossicle replacement .Results In the canal wall-down tympanoplasty group ,the mean ABGs of 3 months after oper-ations in the replacement subgroup was 15 .72 ± 11 .18 dB ,the reduced ABGs was 17 .45 ± 5 .23 dB ,and the impro-ving rate for hearing was 71 .54％ ,statistically higher than the non -replacement subgroup(P<0 .05) .In the canal wall-up tympanoplasty group ,the mean ABGs of 3 months after operations in the replacement subgroup was 8 .13 ± 5 .37 dB ,the reduced ABGs was 26 .85 ± 11 .03 dB ,the improving rate for hearing was 75 .12％ ,statistically higher than non-replacement subgroup(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The replacement of titanic artificial ossicle in both of canal wall-down and canal wall-up tympanoplasty is helpful to improve hearing .

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate curative effect and importance of radiofrequency thermocoagulation onsemilunar ganglion of aged patients with recurrent trigeminal neuralgia.@*METHOD@#112 cases with recurrent trigeminal neuralgia were performed with radiofrequency thermocoagulation on semilunar ganglion by puncture through skin under local anesthesia.@*RESULT@#The maintaining effective duration in 112 cases was 7.3 ± 1.3 years after primary therapy. After the first thermocoagulation, 89.28% (100/112) patients got the relief from pain immediately, 8 (7.14%) cases also recieved the same effect after twice treatment. However two cases (2.6%) had no effects. The total effective rate was 98.21%. During five follow-up years, VAS scores, dose of carbamazepine and satisfaction were better than those before the treatment. The effective rate was still over 57.5% within three years after the treatment. The recurrent risk increased obviously from 40 months after the treatment by Kaplan-Meier method.@*CONCLUSION@#Semilunar ganglion of radiofrequency thermocoagulation was an ideal option for old-age patients with trigeminal neuralgia. It can be performed repeatedly.

Objective: To investigate the biological significance of CerbB-2 expression in nasopharyn-geal carcinoma. Methods: The expression of CerbB-2 was detected in 90 nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and 22 nasopharyngitis tissues by SP immunohistochemical method. The relationship between CerbB-2 ex-pression and clinicopathological characteristics of nasopharyngeal carcinoma was investigated. Results: The positive expression rate of CerbB-2 protein was 65.56% in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues, and 31.82% in nasopharyngitis tissues, with a significant difference (P<0.05). The ratio of expression was 81.0% in patients of N_2 and N_3 lymth node stage, significantly different from that in patients of N_0 and N_1 lymph node stage (52.1%, P<0.05). The expression of CerbB-2 gene was not correlated with age, gender, clinical stage, T stage and distant metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (P>0.05). Conclusion: There is a high expression of CerbB-2 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues, which might be an important event in the pathogenesis and progression of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Objective To explore the syndrome distribution laws of refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (RITP), and the relevance between various syndromes and gender, age, laboratory indicators, to reveal the essence of TCM syndrome and provide a reasonable and standard TCM treatment principle. Methods TCM syndrome, gender, age and laboratory indicators of 75 cases of RITP were studied retrospectively and analized statistically. Results Qi deficiency and blood stasis is the major syndrome, and Yin deficiency is the secondary syndrome. Compare with others, the patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome were older, and had longer disease courses and more severe conditions. Conclusion One of TCM intervention treatment principles for RITP is invigorating qi and yin, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.

Objective To translate the findings from fundamental research into clinical application and to evaluate the clinical efficiency and safety of Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. granule as adjunctive means of chemotherapy during peri chemotherapy of refractory acute leukemia. Methods Patients in multiple hospitals were randomly divided into two groups with Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. granule treatment or synchronous control at three days before chemotherapy respectively, according to random approaches for medical treatment. The clinical therapeutic effects were then determined after one course of treatment. Results According to the research project, 138 patients were analyzed statistically, 72 in Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. granule group and 66 in control group. The complete remission rate (CR) of Fritillaria thunbergii Miq. granule group and control group were 36.8% and 25.8% respectively, while the total effects were 77.8% and 53.0%, which was significantly different (P

Objective To study the impact of compound zhe-bei granule and adriamycin on p53 gene expression in the P388 xenograft tumor.Methods The tumor xenografts model was established by injecting the mouse lymphocytic leukemia cells(P388) in the subcutis of anterior axillary of Kunming mice,and then was treated with CZBG by intragastric administration and different doses of adriamycin by intraperitoneal injection(i.p.).After the end of the experiment,tumor was striped completely,and the expression of p53 gene in xenograft tumor of each group was detected by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction,and the relative quantification of p53 gene of each group was computed using 2-??Ct method.Results Comparing the 2-??Ct values of p53 gene relative expression of each group,no statistical significance was found(F=0.56,P=0.7557).And the relative expression value of p53 gene of CZBG joint high-dose ADM group was higher,while the relative expression value of CZBG joint low-dose ADM group was lower.Conclusion Combined use of CZBG and ADM is able to raise the expression of p53 tumor suppressor gene in the P388 xenograft tumor.

Objective To investigate the effects of Compound Zhe Bei granule (CZBG) combined with doxorubicin on the expression of GST and Topo - Ⅱ in K562/A02 cell line multidrug resistance tumor xenografts in mice. Methods Tumor xenografts model was established by injecting the multidrug resistance cell line K562/A02 in the axillary flank of BALB/c - nu - nu mice. Drug - comgbination of CZBG intragastric administration and doxorubicin intraperitoneal injection ( i. p. ) was given to the BALB/c - nu nude mice. The tumor xenografts were made into slice after the dissection, and the expression of GST and Topo - Ⅱ in K562/A02 tumor xenografts in mice was investigated by immunohistochemical technique. The integral optical density (IOD) of GST and Topo- lⅡ in K562/A02 tumor xenografts was measured by Image ProPlus 6.0. Results Compared with the single treatment of doxorubicin i. p group,the combination of the doxorubicin and CZBG with dosage classified by three types( high, middle, low) can decrease IOD of GSH and Topo - Ⅱ in K562/A02 tumor xenografts with statistical significance( P
ABSTRACT
<p><b>BACKGROUND</b>To explore the significance of lung biopsy through CT-guided percutaneous paracentesis in the diagnosis of space-occupying lesions of the lung.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Thirty-five patients with space occupying lesions of the lung underwent lung biopsy through CT-guided percutaneous paracentesis and DLTRA-CUT 16G, 18G or 20G soft-tissue-cutting biopsy needles and PICKER IQ computerized tomograph were used.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Of the 35 patients, 26 were confirmed by pathological examination to suffer from primary malignant tumor, 1 from metastatic carcinoma, 3 from tuberculosis and 3 from inflammatory pseudotumor. No definite diagnosis was made in two patients. The diagnostic rate was 94.3%. After operation, minor pneumothorax occurred in 5 cases and traces of blood in sputum in 2 cases, however, they didn't need any treatment.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>Lung biopsy through CT-guided percutaneous paracentesis is a safe and practical technique and may be widely used in hospitals if conditions permit.</p>

Objective:To further understand the advantage of radiofrequency treatment of hemangioma ofnasal cavity under nasal endoscopy. Method:Fifteen cases with hemangioma of nasal cavity were treated withradiofrequency under nasal endoscopy. Result:The hemangioma of fifteen cases could be removed completely. Thecomplication was absent. None of them recured in six months to four years following up. Conclusion:This methodhas many advantages such as clear operation visual field,less hemorrhage and postoperative pain,no facial scar.The radiofrequency under endoscopy is valuable in treatment for hemangioma of nasal cavity.

Clinical division of stages in 289 cases of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and reviewing investigating survey analysis were made for its relationship with TCM syndromes. And then relative problems of clinical syndromes, names of diseases and syndromes were researched respectively according to the analytic results. It is indicated that the disease is characterized mainly by clinical changes of the 4 stages, i. e. pathogenic factor falling while body resistence excessive: pathogenic factor accumulating while body resistence prevailing; pathogenic factor advancing while body resistence weakened: pathogenic factor excess while body resistence deficience. And it is firstly put forward that Sui Du is served as name of disease and syndrome of CML.
